Gaining Confidence

So for Christmas “Santa” brought Lyss a bike and due to the colder weather in Colorado she has only had the chance to practice riding it indoors. But today we were fortunate enough for upper 50s and no wind so Josh and I took Lyss to the Nature Center and walked beside her as she rode her bike on the trails. It was amazing to see her confidence grow from not wanting to even ride over a simple crack to going so fast that we had to jog to keep up with her! We tell her that she can do anything and I love watching her face when she discovers she really can do anything she sets her mind to do!

Threesixfive

In honor of my wonderful fiancĂ© recent post “threesixfive: Far to often we do not take time out of our day to reflect on the beautiful things around us. I believe beauty can be found in anything and I hope to express that through a series called “threesixfive”. Each day I will upload one photo that I found beauty in. I hope you enjoy”
I have decided to follow suit as well

Valentines Day Thank You

Well Valentines Day/Week is officially over and I want to personally say thank you for everyone who placed an order and to those select few who placed multiple orders. I can’t tell y’all how appreciative/honored I am that you utilized Delicious Delights to make your holiday special. This was my first big holiday and I am really looking forward to many more to come!

Crocheting Creations

I was around 7 or 8 years old when my auntie (my mom’s twin sister who is my other mom) taught me how to crochet a potholder and ever since I was hooked (pun intended).

And just recently during their Christmas break I am proud to say that I passed that tradition down to my nieces. And after making them both scarfs in their favorite colors and watching their faces light up I knew that I wanted to share my creations with others as well.

This is why I added Crocheting Creations to my site. Imagine your loved ones faces when you give them a handmade one-of-a-kind gift.
