We repurposed an old pantry organizer into a shoe rack for Alyssa. Her little shoes fit perfectly and won’t fall down like they would with a regular shoe rack.

Refurbished Office Desk
When we cleaned out the spare bedroom to make it into an office we knew Josh would need a good desk. But we got super lucky because instead of having to buy a $1000 desk, my Auntie Dorothy gave us one for free!! It needed a little TLC…which of course is my preference anyway because that gives me the opportunity to make it our own. Here is Josh’s office desk that we redid. It only took a couple coats of Walnut Rust-O-Leum stain & Josh painted the handles (changed them from outdated brass to a silver look) and now the desk to look fresh and new again.
Olaf Kids Lunch
We just experienced the first snow storm of the season and it got me inspired me to do an Frozen themed lunch so I chose to make Olaf this morning.
TMNT Lunch
I couldn’t help it, I already strayed away from the Turkey theme lol.
But I HAD to take advantage of a rare moment of having a green apple in the house (we usually eat Honeycrisps)…ok ok I know ‘had’ and ‘want’ are two diff concepts but I truly didn’t want it to go to waste.
So I created a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and yes the nunchucks are pink…Alyssa is STILL a girl after all and I HAD to add a girlie flare to this lunch. 😉
